Two weeks from today it will be Day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival and this time last year we were already 6 points to the good going into Day 2, helped by a nice each-way on Altior at 5/1.

For those wishing to get their hands on my picks for this year where we have made a nice profit in 5 of the last 6 years and made 100 points to boot you can get access here: http://dfl4.us/go/13325/eY49Dm/[email protected]

In this years report I highlight a 50/1 outsider I feel has gone under the radar, and also a £1 each-way 7 fold Acca paying out a whopping £180,282.32. All horses picked are under 8/1 so in with a shout. Of course lots of luck needed but who knows, and for £2 then why not?

On the racing front Charli Parcs fell in his prep race for the Triumph Hurdle on Saturday and has now been pushed out in price to a general 14/1. Plans are still in the dark for the Henderson trained horse after this fall and who knows what may have happened if he kept his legs? Interesting to note he was coming back on the bridle shortly before falling so all is not lost depending on what Henderson decides to do – it was only this third run?

Thistle crack is sadly now out of the Gold Cup after injury and Native River (7/2) and Sizing John (9/1) for me have big chances this year.  I think Cheltenham will erupt if Cue Card wins but I can’t see it this year and for me the 3/1 is way to short at this stage in his career.

Really looking forward to this festival and it can’t come quick enough for me.

Week 8 Review Updates…

Flat Racing Master:

£78.50 loss last week that pulls this trial well into the red by £573.00. Tuesday was profitable to the tune of £47 overall, however we do need bigger priced winners in the last 2 weeks if this trial is to turn around.

Pro Footy Tips:

A loss of £110 last week and not looking at this stage with no winners of the 6 bets. Total loss so far of £299.50 so plenty of catching up to be done.

Testing Pod Update…

Still going strong on the Draw method despite a few losing days so a pretty strong strategy and hitting 10 points per month on trade out option with maximum loss on any one day of around 2.20 points.

After hitting an early profit our new Horse Racing Lays of the Day (Against The Double) that uses SAW (Stop At A Winner) staking has now gone into slight loss but still very early days for this one so keep watching.
