Well our 10 week Betting Doctor trial has come to an end and it’s been the proverbial roller coaster ride throughout. The service showed an early loss then hit a profit, then back into a loss, and finally back into a slight profit.
We finished Week 10 with a profit of +4.09 points and below are the figures generated over this period;

The Selections originate from two internet radio pundits: Rory Delargy who is a Timeform Radio and Cheltenham Racecourse pundit, and David (Chutney Dave) Massey, a William Hill radio correspondent.
Bet Type:
The majority of bets are simple ‘Back to Win’ and Each-Way bets with the odd back and Lay in–running bet advised. All done on a scale of 0.50 – 2 points.
Customer Service:
All emails were answered within 24-36 hours so no problems there.
Delivery of Service:
Delivery of the service is very good with emails arriving at between 10am – 11.00am each-day whether there are bets or not. For those wanting to read the full rationale behind the days selections and to get insights into other races you can log into your account and read the full write ups. Advised prices were also pretty much easy to achieve so no problems there.
Conclusion:
The small profit over the trial whilst disappointing, it has to be said even if they had just one of the big priced seconds winning the picture could have looked very different, and that’s the fine lines we have in betting.
Despite the small profit I do like the service and have no doubt it will make its followers profit over the long term as its achieved since launch.
In fact, if I had took the test from Oct-Dec the service made +83 points.
The encouraging point is that even with a Win strike rate of just 19.10% throughout the trial they still managed a slight profit. I can only think when they hit their 20% average and with the generally big price of winning selections this profit will increase over time.
As you may gather by the strike rate and long losing runs this is a ‘value for money’ service so you do need at least 100 points in reserve for a betting bank and be able to cope mentally with losing runs.
The Verdict?
The service has racked up some impressive monthly totals since inception and I have no reason to disbelieve their past records.
Having said the above, I have to base the verdict on what I have experienced ‘first hand’ and therefore this is another that I can neither fail or pass based on the 10 week trial.
As such it will be another service to be placed in the ‘NEUTRAL’ category for now. I will then report back in 3 months to see if they have hit one of their big winning months as outlined on their website.
If you like the thrill of landing big priced winners and have the mental strength to cope with long losing runs then now is probably a good time to try it for a month to see if its to your liking.
I’m a firm believer in trying new services when they have been through a flat period and not when on a high. Services that have a reliable past history that is.
My logic for the above theory can be summed up in the words of the late 80’s hit by singer ‘Yazz’ – The only way is up…

Price: £39.99 monthly option and discounted yearly option available also.
About the service: This is a backing service that advises both Win singles and Each Way bets with the odd in play advice. Tips are sent via email or members can log into a password-protected area to receive the day’s bets and in-depth analysis of selections on their blog. On average, you can expect around two to three selections per day, maybe more on Saturdays.
Since the pair teamed up on June 2014 and offered their service to clients, they have boasted profits of £4,766 to £10 stakes.
So from the start of my review (on 19 January) up to now, we’ve had 55 bets with 5 wins and 2 placing, for a loss of -25.58 so far in the trial, and a disappointing win and place strike rate of 12.28%.
I’m confident the pair will turn this around pretty quickly, as a 25-point loss from a strike rate of 12.28% is not as bad as it first looks. With a strike rate that low I was expecting the loss to be double that figure, so it shows they go for value: a couple of wins could turn this around pretty quickly.
Anyway, we will see how it pans out. I will run this test for 10 weeks and thereafter will be my cut-off point for reviews.

Week 7 – RESULTS UPDATE:
A nice profit for week 7 of +11.87 reduces the overall loss in the trial to -6.08. My indications are this could well be a profitable service long term. Why? Well the winning strike rate in the trial so far has been just 18% and with a strike rate this low I would have expected a much bigger loss. I’m sure when they can hit their average of 25% we will start to see the profits build. Well here’s hoping anyway…
