Now this is an ambitious target I know, but this is one project I have very high hopes and have a bit of fun along the way with our first test here on the Betting Doctor testing pod…

Here we will be live testing a ‘Back-The-Draw’ strategy for Betting Doctor readers.

Background…

This a joint effort between myself and a very clever Football and Horse Racing statistician. Suffice to say this guy really does know his onions when it comes to devising profitable systems.

Sometime ago he contacted me about his framework for Backing the Draw in certain matches using well researched price filters that are finely balanced to obtain a profit.
Since then we have worked together to produce something that is turning out to be an efficient and solid way of picking up 1 point per day. Hence why a compounding challenge maybe a viable option. But as ever, we first have to test in ‘real time’ to see its worth and do so in front of a live audience.

Although compounding is not essential as you can simply use the maximum daily risk option of using level stakes.

The Plan…

What I’m going to do is give selections out in advance FREE daily until further notice. Then, if you like what you see Betting Doctor readers will have the option to continue receiving selections when the service is fully launched if and when it proves viable to so. That’s pending its continued success shown in the pre testing stages.

Below you will see the framework we will be using for the start of this testing period. Then further below that will see 7 week results showing solid incremental growth.  Finally at the end will be each days selected matches posted by 11.00am everyday of the week.

Starting Bank & Staking
Starting Bank: £500
Starting Stake: £25
Staking Ratio:  5% of Starting Bank at the end of each month. Or you can use Level stake units.
Profit Projection: Based On Average 8 points per month

Example of Compounding:
At the end of Month 1 we make 8pts (£200).
Add the £200 profit at the end of month ‘1’ to our starting bank of £500
(£500 + £200 = £700

To work out new monthly unit stake for the following month we multiply new bank total of £700 x 5% = £35

Therefore; new stake of £35 for the following month.

Method Of Staking:

We operate this method on ‘3’ matches per day using Stop-At-A-Winner (SAW). To win ‘1 unit point each day, in this case £25 stakes for the first month.
With a maximum daily risk of 2.08 points and aiming for 1 point per day.
Once we hit a winning match we are finished for the day.

Example with Stakes:

(Based on aiming to Win £10 per day)

£10 = 1pt AVERAGE ODDS: 3.20

First match: Back draw at 3.20 for £4.55 returns £14.56

If A Loser…

Second match: Back draw at 3.20 for £6.62 returns £21.18

If A Loser…

Third match: Back draw at 3.20 for £9.63 returns £30.82

Maximum daily risk = Approx 2.00 points
Target Profit = 1 point

Remember, this is a test so use very small stakes if you wish or just observe results for a set period until you are confident enough to place real stakes.  

Bookmakers/Exchanges to Use?…

Many of the games will be available on Betfair and those that aren’t we suggest using BET365. However other bookmakers are suitable i.e William Hill, 10 Bet, Bet Victor, Unibet, Betway and Betfair Sportsbook.

Trading Out Option?

If any match is a draw at the 88^th minute or whenever we can trade out for 90% profit of our total unit stake (whichever come first) you can ‘Cash-Out for a profit to save losing profit, or you can just Bet & Go and leave the bet to run. We can trade out using the ‘Cash Out’ feature of Betfair or Bookies.

If your bookie does not offer a cash-out facility on certain games you can always cover your bet in the Over/Under’s market in case there’s a late goal.

Here’s How; if its 1-1 at the 88^th minute you can then back the ‘Over’s’ in the Over/Under 2.5 goals market for a stake that will return you 90% profit as the odds for backing the Over’s at that late stage in the game will make it viable to do so. I have given the results for both Bet & Go and trade out options below the staking table.

To Recap:

If taking the Bet & Go Option:
Winning day = 1pt
Losing day = -2.00pts

If taking the Trade Out option (Trade out at 88th min)
Winning day = 0.90pt
Losing day = -2.00pts

Postponed Matches…

If the first Match is postponed we carry on to next match aiming to win our ‘1’ point target and therefore max loss on the day is  ‘1’ point if we don’t get draw in next 2 remaining matches. Likewise if second match is postponed we carry onto third match. Put simply, if any match is postponed we just carry on with remaining matches aiming for our ‘1’ target and take whatever Profit/Loss derives from such.  

So Far So Good…

In behind the scenes testing the results (included below) have been pretty solid at +25.04 points using the 88-90^th trade out option, and +20.18pts leaving the bets to run until the end.

Now remember, this is a challenge to hit £28,345 from £500 and so we are obviously going to encounter difficulties getting stakes over £100 on. Then again, how many hours would you have to work to earn over £28k profit, so it maybe worth working at by getting our creative thinking caps on for those that want to continue with it once the initial testing period proves successful?

So with the above in mind, I compiled the compounding table below based on a £500 starting bank and betting 5% (£25) to start with and 5% of new bank total every month (Projection based on 8 points profit per month):

FURTHER TESTING POD GUIDANCE NOTES:

As you know i’m posting these daily FREE for Betting Doctor readers. As such you can either decide to follow them with small stakes or just monitor to see whether it fits in with your style of betting and time available. Remember, this is a Testing Pod! As such there will be wrinkles to be ironed out before ‘if & when’ it will be offered as a full service.

The idea is to formulate a method that makes small gains, and when its established it will be solid enough to makes these small gains and then readers can then decide to compound profits over monthly into worthwhile sums. However this is a very slow process to begin with and hence why they are offered FREE for a good period first.  I cannot be responsible for any losses should they occur for any strategy on the Testing Pod, therefore readers follow them at their own risk. Having said that, its evident it has plenty of potential and worth keeping an eye on.

You may notice that by Match ‘3’ if we haven’t got a winner your total loss for the day may be over the 2 point mark depending on odds for the last match in order to make your ‘1’ point daily target . I am aware of this and in some way this is counterbalanced by those games that we can bet on using Betfair with the better odds on offer. You can if you wish place a stake on the last match that would give you a total ‘2’ point loss overall on the day and just take what profit derives from that should it be a winner. As i say a few more wrinkles to iron out but were getting there and using the trade out option should make enough to hopefully make the losing days irrelevant and that’s the plan!.

Also, do ‘check in’ the evening before to see matches and around 10am – 10.30am next day in case of match changes which are rare with only one so far.

Hi Testing Pod readers,

We have now come to the end of our test of the ‘Quick On The Draw’ strategy with a full 3 months completed.
First off a big thank you for following this strategy for the past 12 weeks, and for all the nice comments.
In this time we have more than doubled the starting bank using the ‘TRADE OUT’ option.

It has come to my attention that many readers took my advice and were ultra cautious at the start when following the draw selections and did so using a set percentage of bank.

For example; a few used 5% of betting bank to start with, and then used 5% of new bank total after each month thereafter.

Therefore;

Starting with a modest £300 bank i gather some readers  have turned this into a total bank plus winnings of £705.47 in just 12 weeks. (£135% bank growth) Simply by betting 5% of new bank total at the end of each month. So they would have £705.47 from which to compound going into month 4.

So more than doubling the bank in 12 weeks and achieved with no further risk at the start of each new month. By using 5% of bank at all times the risk ratio is always the same, only the unit stake increases with the pro rata increase in the betting bank. So very safe with very little strain put on the betting bank. In fact in all this time we only went into the original bank by 2 points and that was on Day 1 & 2 before going into profit and staying there.

Even 5% compounding using BET & GO was not far off doubling the Betting Bank with winnings of £224.79p and £524.79 including starting bank (75% bank growth). Ideally its best to use the Trade Out Option when you can be around, and use ‘Bet & Go’ when you can’t. So a mixture of both staking options is the way forward.

Using flat level stakes is OK and although makes a profit is defeating the object with this plan as the Win/Lose pattern is clearly ideal for compounding due to its low risk nature and short losing runs, the longest been just two!
This 12 week live testing period together with the 7 weeks results prior to going live (where it made 25pts on Trade Out) shows its ‘in depth’ strength going forward and have given 5 straight winning months. (I also might add there was a day when I couldn’t log into wordpress to post matches until it was to late and as sods law would have it was another winning day).

So Where Do We Go Next?….

Well if we add together the 7 weeks results shown on the Testing Pod together with the 12 weeks of ‘live’ testing, and with just 2 losing days over this 19 week period its clear this is a strong product and worth addition to anyone’s portfolio. Even after doubling the bank followers could take out their original investment and carry on risk free.

I also might add it was pretested as far back as January 2016 and was only in September that myself and co-developer Les Robson started to take it seriously.  After all if you were to deposit £300 into your local Halifax account would they give you £405 in interest after just 12 weeks, and around £1,600+ by years end? I think not is the short answer!
With plans of this nature we are never going to get massive fluctuation between profit and loss (zig zagging on the Profit/Loss graph). With such services it inevitably see’s most followers out of the game when they hit these massive down swings. Far better surely to grow in a steady and controlled manner upwards over time?

Finally, we also have plans on building a community of like minded bettors who prefer their profits to be made from small betting banks and in a low risk way fashion as there is clearly an appetite for such. Add to that we are also including a new filter that will make sure all selections go ‘in-play; and focus on normal leagues. Instead of leagues where they play football in local parks!
